This research is a cooperative-based LKPD teaching material development research developed based on the results of validity, practicality and effectiveness tests in grade VII of junior high school/Islamic junior high school. This research aims to develop STAD-type cooperative-based Student Worksheets (LKPD) on the material Interaction between Living Things and the Environment in grade VII. The development model used is ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The LKPD product developed was validated by 3 expert validators, namely material experts, media experts and practitioner experts to test the validity, practicality and effectiveness of LKPD. The results of the study showed that the STAD-based LKPD developed met the valid criteria with a score of 97% with the category of "Very Valid", the practicality of LKPD was measured based on the results of the student response questionnaire that had been filled out by 20 grade VII students with a score of 97% with the category of "Very Practical" and the effectiveness results obtained an average score of 77. Thus, STAD-based LKPD can be used as an alternative innovative teaching material to improve the quality of science learning at the SMP/MTs level.
