KOHESI DAN KOHERENSI DALAM KARANGAN SISWA KELAS VI MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH ASH-SHOLAHIYAH DEPOK JAWA BARAT
: Linguistics consists of several scientific fields including phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics and discourse. From some of these linguistic fields, discourse is the most complete and highest language unit in the language hierarchy. Discourse consists of two types, namely oral discourse and written discourse. Oral discourse is expressed in verbal communication, while written discourse is expressed in a writing that contains a series of sentences that are interconnected from one another to form a single unit of information. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach that emphasizes the depth of appreciation of the interaction between concepts that are being studied empirically using words or images. Research with this qualitative approach uses content analysis methods. This content analysis is used in fact finding by interpreting the data in the form of essays written by class VI students of the Ash-Sholahiyah Ibtidaiyah Madrasah entitled "Concern and Responsibility for Living Beings and the Environment". The analysis carried out was an analysis of the study of cohesion and coherence analysis. The purpose of this research is: to analyze and obtain a clear picture of cohesion and coherence in essays by class VI Ibtidaiyah Madrasas entitled "Concern and Responsibility for Living Beings and the Environment".
