PEMAHAMAN MAHASISWA TEKNIK ELEKTRO TERHADAP PERAMBATAN PULSA DAN GELOMBANG TALI PADA MATERI GELOMBANG MEKANIK

Penelitian ini mengungkapkan tentang pemahaman mahasiswa pada materi fisika yaitu gelombang mekanik tentang perambatan pulsadan gelombang pada tali. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 7 mahasiswa tahun pertama teknik elektro, Universitas Kahuripan Kediri, yang mengikuti perkuliahan fisika II. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan soal diagnostik Wave Conceptual Survey (WCS). Instrumen soal pilihan ganda disertai alasan dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data kuantitatif berupa skor pretes dan skor postes dan data kualitatif berupa penjelasan alasan mahasiswa. Dua soal dari WCS untuk mengidentifikasi pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap materi gelombang mekanik dalam menentukan perambatan pulsa dan gelombang tali. Peningkatan pembelajaran menggunakan multirepresentasi ditunjukkan oleh seorang mahasiswa yang bergeser memilih jawaban benar saat postes.
