Analisis Kinerja Hidraulik Pompa Sentrifugal Tipe CDX/I 120/20 IE3 pada Sistem Distribusi Air Bersih Gedung BUMN di Surabaya

Keandalan sistem distribusi air bersih pada bangunan bertingkat sangat bergantung pada pemilihan pompa dan karakteristik hidraulik jaringan perpipaan untuk menjamin kontinuitas suplai serta kestabilan tekanan pada seluruh titik pelayanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kinerja hidraulik pompa sentrifugal tipe CDX/I 120/20 IE3 pada sistem distribusi air bersih Gedung BUMN di Surabaya melalui evaluasi kapasitas aliran, tekanan operasi, dan kehilangan energi pada jaringan perpipaan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui observasi lapangan dan analisis hidraulik berdasarkan perhitungan debit aliran, bilangan Reynolds, faktor gesek menggunakan persamaan Colebrook–White, major head loss, minor head loss, serta total dynamic head. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa konfigurasi tiga pompa sentrifugal yang dioperasikan secara paralel mampu menyediakan debit total sebesar 480 L/menit dengan head maksimum 40,5 m, sehingga memenuhi kebutuhan distribusi air bersih pada gedung setinggi 9 m. Analisis juga menunjukkan bahwa panjang pipa, diameter pipa, dan jumlah aksesoris perpipaan merupakan faktor utama yang memengaruhi kehilangan tekanan pada sistem distribusi. Sistem kontrol berbasis Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) dan pressure switch mampu mempertahankan tekanan operasi secara otomatis sesuai kebutuhan beban pemakaian. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konfigurasi pompa paralel dengan sistem kontrol berbasis PLC dan pressure switch merupakan alternatif yang efektif untuk meningkatkan keandalan sistem distribusi air bersih pada bangunan bertingkat melalui penyediaan debit yang memadai dan kestabilan tekanan operasi.
