Efektivitas latihan lompat gawang pada kemampuan tendangan mawashi geri dalam seni bela diri karate

Abstrak

Meningkatkan kemampuan menendang mawashi geri dalam pencak silat karate memerlukan latihan yang terukur dan terencana, yaitu melalui latihan lompat gawang, yang dikhususkan untuk pencak silat karate. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas latihan lompat gawang terhadap kemampuan menendang mawashi geri dalam pencak silat karate. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain pre-experimental melalui desain pre-test post-test satu kelompok. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 25 siswa yang aktif melakukan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di Sekolah Menengah Atas di Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara. Alat yang digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan tendangan mawashi geri dalam pencak silat karate adalah menggunakan tendangan mawashi geri selama 30 detik. Latihan yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menendang mawashi geri dalam seni bela diri karate adalah menggunakan latihan lompat gawang plyometric dengan urutan lompat rendah dan tinggi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data kuantitatif dengan statistik probabilitas, menggunakan uji analisis data prasyarat dengan uji normalitas dan homogenitas dilanjutkan dengan uji-t pada taraf signifikansi 0,05 menggunakan SPSS versi 26. Dari hasil analisis data pre-test dan post-test, kemampuan menendang Mawashi Geri melalui latihan lompat gawang memiliki arti penting 0,000 < 0,05, artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara variabel pre-test dan post-test terhadap kemampuan menendang Mawashi Geri dalam olahraga bela diri karate. Latihan lompat gawang dapat membantu atlet mengintegrasikan kekuatan dan kontrol yang mereka peroleh dari latihan lompat gawang dalam konteks teknik mawashi geri.
