Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan metode dan jenis latihan fisik pada peningkatan power otot tungkai. Metode eksperimental digunakan dalam penelitian ini, 48 siswa laki-laki berusia 18-20 tahun dibagi menjadi 4 kelompok, yang masing-masing memiliki 12 sampel dengan rincian kelompok squat thrust dengan rasio 1:2, kelompok squat thrust dengan rasio 1:3, kelompok jump rope dengan rasio 1:2 dan kelompok jump rope dengan rasio 1:3. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Laboratorium Sport Science Fitness Center (SSFC), Universitas Negeri Surabaya selama 8 minggu. Tes daya dilakukan pada awal dan akhir menggunakan Force plate / Accu Power Version 1.3. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik ANOVA, nilai Fhitung = 168,208 dan nilai probabilitas P<0,05, yang berarti bahwa ada perubahan hasil perlakuan antar kelompok, perbedaan rata-rata antara metode pelatihan interval adalah 22,33 watt dimana nilai perubahan terbesar dalam metode latihan interval adalah 1:3 sedangkan jenis pelatihan ada perbedaan 28,58 watt di mana jenis pelatihan lompat tali jump rope lebih signifikan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah latihan menggunakan metode rasio interval 1:3 dengan jenis latihan jump rope memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap perubahan power otot tungkai atlet.
