The Influence of Financial Literacy, Hedonic Lifestyle, and Self-Control on Consumer Behavior in Gen-Z

This study examines how financial literacy, hedonistic lifestyle, and self-control affect the consumer behavior of Generation Z in Indonesia, both individually and together. Based on responses from 136 Gen Z participants via an online questionnaire, data were analyzed using multiple linear regression (SPSS v.22). Results show that financial literacy and hedonistic lifestyle significantly influence consumer behavior on their own, while self-control does not. However, all three factors combined have a significant overall impact. This suggests Gen Z's consumer behavior is influenced by financial understanding, lifestyle choices, and psychological factors.
