Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengertian sampah, mengetahui pemanfaatan sampah yang tepat, dan mengetahui carapemanfaatan limbah botol plastik menjadi boneka pinguin. Sampah merupakan suatu bahan yang terbuang atau dibuang dari sumber hasil aktivitas manusia maupun proses alam yang belum memiliki nilai ekonomis yang dapat dibedakan menjadi sampah organik dan sampah anorganik. Pemanfaatan sampah anorganik dengan cara proses daur ulang (recycle). Beberapa limbah anorganik dapat dimanfaatkan melalui proses daur ulang, misalnya plastik, gelas, logam, dan kertas serta pemanfaatan limbah botol plastik menjadi prakarya boneka penguin merupakan upaya menekan pencemaran limbah plastik di lingkungan sekitar dan pendidikan lingkungan hidup.
