Abstrak

Pentingnya kebugaran jasmani sebagai salah satu faktor pendukung kegiatan mahasiswa perlu diperhatikan. Pentingnya kebugaran fisik membutuhkan perbaikan dan pertahanan dalam kondisinya. Memberikan aktivitas fisik merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh senam aerobik low-impact terhadap peningkatan kebugaran siswa. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan desain pre-eksperimental dengan menggunakan one group pretest-posttest tanpa menggunakan variable control. Subjek penelitian menggunakan teknik Proportionate stratified random sampling dengan mengambil siswa laki-laki berusia 13-15 tahun di SMP.  Instrumen penelitian menggunakan Tes Kebugaran Jasmani Indonesia untuk mengukur kekuatan, kecepatan, daya tahan, kekuatan, dan kekuatan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji prasyarat normalitas dan homogenitas, dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh terhadap variabel menggunakan uji-t, prosedur analisis data menggunakan SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan hasil perhitungan menggunakan metode pendekatan uji-t diperoleh 0,841. Hasil ini lebih besar dari Ttabel, yang berjumlah 1.701 karena hasil analisis menyebutkan ada efek signifikan dari latihan aerobik low-impact terhadap kebugaran fisik. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa latihan aerobik low-impact dapat meningkatkan kebugaran fisik siswa.
