Plagiarism Screening Policy

Generation Journal is committed to maintaining academic integrity and ensuring the originality of all published articles. Plagiarism and other forms of unethical publication practices are unacceptable.

Authors submitting manuscripts to Generation Journal must comply with the following requirements:

  1. Originality: Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are original works. Any use of other authors' ideas, words, data, or findings must be appropriately cited or quoted.

  2. Multiple and Concurrent Publications: Authors must not publish manuscripts describing essentially the same research in more than one journal or primary publication. Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable.

  3. Acknowledgment of Sources: Authors must properly acknowledge the work of others and cite publications that have significantly influenced their research.

  4. Plagiarism Screening: All submitted manuscripts undergo plagiarism screening as part of the journal's editorial assessment process.

  5. Maximum Permitted Similarity Score: Generation Journal establishes a maximum permitted similarity score of 25% for submitted manuscripts. Manuscripts exceeding this threshold may be returned to the authors for revision or subjected to further editorial assessment before a publication decision is made.

  6. Editorial Assessment: The similarity score serves as an initial screening indicator and does not, on its own, establish plagiarism. The editorial team evaluates the similarity report, considering the context of matched text, appropriate citations, quotations, references, and other relevant factors.

  7. Publication Misconduct: Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism or other forms of publication misconduct may be rejected or subjected to other appropriate editorial action, depending on the nature and severity of the violation.

Authors are fully responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts comply with the journal's originality requirements and publication ethics.
