Penerapan Konseling Cognitive Behaviour Therapy Menggunakan Personal Achievment Sheet Untuk Meningkatkan Self Confidence Pada Siswa SMP Plus Abdul Aziz

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas penerapan konseling Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) dengan memanfaatkan media Personal Achievement Sheet (PAS) sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan tingkat self-confidence siswa SMP Plus Abdul aziz Jember. Self-confidence memegang peran penting dalam pengembangan pribadi dan prestasi akademis siswa, sehingga strategi intervensi yang efektif menjadi krusial dalam konteks pendidikan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan eksperimental dengan desain pre-test dan post-test serta kelompok kontrol. Sampel sebanyak 14 siswa yang dibagi dalam 2 kelompok yaitu kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen. Hasil Analisis uji Paired Sample T-Test didaptakan skor sig (2-tailed) menunjukkan 0.001 < 0.05 yang artinya terdapat peningkatan self-confidence karena terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan self-confidence siswa sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan. Data akan memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang sejauh mana penerapan konseling CBT dengan media PAS dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam peningkatan self-confidence siswa, dibandingkan dengan metode konseling konvensional.
