Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mendukung dan menghambat Percepatan Pembangunan Ekonomi Kota Kediri, baik faktor internal maupun faktor eksternal. Hasil yang diharapkan dari analisis ini adalah diketahuinya faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam percepatan pembangunan ekonomi Kota Kediri sehingga dapat dirumuskan arahan pengembangan ekonominya. Penelitian dilakukan bulan Pebruari sampai Juni 2017, Analisis data penelitian dengan menggunakan metode SWOT (Strenghts – Weaknesses – Opportunities - Threats) dan IFAS (Internal Strategic Factors Analysis Summary) – EFAS (External Strategic Factors Analysis Summary). Analisis ini berisi mengenai potensi, masalah, peluang dan ancaman terkait pembangunan ekonomi Kota Kediri sehingga strategi percepatan pembangunan dapat dilakukan. Hasil penelitian ini merekomendasikan strategi SO yang diterapkan dalam percepatan pembangunan di Kota Kediri yaitu strategi yang menitik beratkan pada optimalisasi penggunaan kekuatan untuk memanfaatkan peluang.
