Abstract

Abtract: BIPA an appropriate container for foreigners who want to learn Indonesian. There are two technical implementation of the program BIPA direct contact with learners, the teachers and tutors. This article discusses the focus for tutors and tutorial activities. One strategy that can be done by tutors when tutorial activities is the preservation of language. Preservation of language by the tutor will make the learners are accustomed to using the Indonesian language. In this article described regarding (1) the theoretical basis of preservation of language as a communication strategy on tutorial activities learners BIPA beginners class, (2) preservation of language as a means to refuse to communicate in English when tutorial activities, and (3) the implementation of the preservation of language as a strategy communication activities with learners BIPA tutorial beginner class.
