Latihan aerobik dengan senam intensitas rendah terhadap kebugaran fisik dan indeks massa tubuh pada lansia

Abstrak

Penurunan aktivitas fisik pada lansia merupakan masalah saat ini, kurangnya aktivitas fisik dan tidak memahami aktivitas fisik menyebabkan penurunan kebugaran dan indeks massa tubuh bagi lansia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani dan indeks massa tubuh lansia dengan latihan Aerobik dengan senam intensitas rendah. Penelitian ini merupakan quasi eksperimen dengan desain kelompok posttest pretest kelompok tunggal. Subjek yang terlibat dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria sampel dengan penerapan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi dengan 40 dinas sosial lansia di kota Surakarta. Instrumen untuk mengukur kebugaran jasmani menggunakan uji Rock Port sejauh 1609 m dan pengukuran indeks massa tubuh berat dan tinggi badan. Analisis data menggunakan tes prasyarat dan tes Kolmogorov Smirnov dengan SPPS 25 untuk program Windows. Uji homogenitas pada penelitian ini menggunakan Uji F. Data yang diperoleh diolah menggunakan IBM SPSS versi 25 dan paired T-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kebugaran jasmani sebelum dan sesudah latihan aerobik dengan senam intensitas rendah, yaitu dari hasil signifikansi 0,056 (<0,05). Sedangkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara indeks massa tubuh sebelum dan sesudah latihan aerobik dengan senam intensitas rendah dari hasil signifikansi P=0,028 (<0,05). Dari hasil tersebut, latihan aerobik dapat meningkatkan kebugaran fisik dan indeks massa tubuh pada lansia. Sehingga lansia dapat memanfaatkan kegiatan tersebut untuk menjaga kesehatan tubuhnya.
