Abstrak

Belajar meningkatkan keterampilan olahraga membutuhkan waktu lama untuk dikuasai. Alat bantu dan modifikasi waktu pelatihan diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan dengan memodifikasi latihan yang dapat membantu dalam menguasai keterampilan forehand groundstroke pada siswa olahraga yang belajar tenis lapangan. Subjek penelitian adalah 48 siswa olahraga, dengan jenis kelamin laki-laki. Metode membagi subjek ke dalam kelompok perlakuan adalah mencocokkan pasangan dengan mempertimbangkan skor Pretest sebelum perlakuan. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan Kemp-Vincent Rally Test dengan tingkat validitas 0,80 dan 0,93 sedangkan reliabilitas 0,90 dan 0,86. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji paired t-test dengan tingkat signifikasi α = 0,05. Uji normalitas dan homogenitas keterampilan groundstroke menggunakan tes Bartlet. Analisis hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa latihan boteli dengan frekuensi mingguan dua kali mempengaruhi keterampilan groundstroke forehand. Perbandingan kedua kalinya dari hasil data sig. (2-tailed), nilai 0,000 < 0,05. Ini berarti h0 ditolak h1 dapat diterima, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa frekuensi latihan seminggu dua kali lebih baik dari frekuensi latihan seminggu sekali dalam mempengaruhi latihan boteli untuk meningkatkan keandalan reli forehand groundstroke tenis. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa memberikan modifikasi peralatan dan waktu pelatihan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa olahraga dalam menguasai keterampilan groundstroke forehand reli.
