Abstrak

Intensitas tinggi dan kecepatan akselerasi yang baik merupakan keunggulan tersendiri dalam sebuah tim futsal, dengan demikian tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh speed training terhadap performa fisik pemain futsal di Jawa Barat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimental, dengan pendekatan pretest-posttest one group design. Teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria inklusi digunakan dalam memilih subjek. Total subjek penelitian adalah 30 pemain futsal putra dengan rata-rata (usia 18,18 ± 2,11 tahun, tinggi badan 168,20 ± 5,32 cm, berat badan 60,49 ± 4,23 kg, dan lemak 10,19 ± 1,65 %). Data dianalisis menggunakan aplikasi SPSS versi 22 dengan taraf signifikansi p <0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa latihan kecepatan yang dilakukan selama 10 minggu berdampak signifikan terhadap Kapasitas aerobik (p=0,005) dan kelincahan (p=0,008). Sementara untuk vertical jump dan sprint 20 meter, terjadi peningkatan, namun tidak signifikan. Dengan demikian temuan dalam penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai rekomendasi bagi pelatih dan atlet untuk melatih komponen dasar kecepatan untuk membantu kinerja fisik mereka dengan baik.
