Potensi Learning Loss terhadap Kemampuan Gerak Dasar pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar Selama Pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani di Masa Pandemi

Abstrak

Pandemi Covid-19 saat ini telah memberikan tantangan baru bagi masyarakat dan pemerintah Indonesia, khususnya di sektor pendidikan. Salah satu yang terdampak adalah pendidikan jasmani, dan dikhawatirkan terjadi learning loss. Ini adalah situasi di mana siswa kehilangan pengetahuan dan keterampilan karena kondisi tertentu, mengurangi penguasaan kompetensi mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dampak pandemi Covid-19 terhadap potensi learning loss keterampilan dasar bergerak pada siswa SD selama Pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani pada Masa Pandemi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan menggunakan data sekunder yang diambil dari berbagai sumber. Dengan adanya kesenjangan hasil belajar akibat learning loss, maka perlu dilakukan pemetaan untuk menentukan keterampilan gerak dasar dengan risiko tertinggi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani sekolah dasar memiliki risiko kehilangan belajar tertinggi akibat pembelajaran jarak jauh selama pandemi Covid-19. Diharapkan guru pendidikan jasmani dapat merespon situasi tersebut dengan lebih memperhatikan siswa yang memiliki situasi learning loss yang tinggi, yaitu dengan sarana pendukung dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran jarak jauh secara merata kepada siswanya sehingga tidak terjadi kesenjangan dalam hasil belajar khususnya gerakan dasar.
