Abstrak

Selain kondisi fisik dan psikologis yang baik, pemulihan merupakan komponen penting lain yang harus dipenuhi atlet untuk mendukung kesuksesan di lapangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh recovery aktif dan pasif terhadap latihan plyometric terhadap kecepatan dan daya. Jenis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi-experimental. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 44 atlet asal Provinsi Lampung yang akan bertanding untuk Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) 2021 Papua. Latihan plyometric yang diterapkan adalah latihan plyometric (beberapa hop dan variasi lompatan). Setelah melakukan latihan plyometric, pemulihan aktif dan pasif diterapkan. Instrumen penelitian kecepatan adalah tes sprint 30 m untuk daya menggunakan lompatan vertikal. Analisis data yang digunakan: analisis uji berpasangan dan uji sampel independen. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah bahwa latihan plyometric pada pemulihan aktif dan pasif mempengaruhi kecepatan dan kemampuan kekuatan atlet. Meskipun mempengaruhi kinerja, dalam uji efektivitas, kecepatan pemulihan aktif lebih baik daripada pemulihan pasif. Adapun kekuatan, keduanya tidak memiliki tingkat efektivitas antara pemulihan pasif dan aktif. Hasil kajian tersebut diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan untuk diikutsertakan dalam program pelatihan menggunakan model plyometric dengan recovery aktif dan pasif untuk mendukung keberhasilan para atlet Provinsi Lampung pada tahun 2021.
