The influence of UMAC-CPF training models in improving Indonesian cerebral palsy football players

Abstrak

This study aims to determine the effect of UMAC-CPF training model in increasing the agility of Indonesian Cerebral Palsy Football Team for Asean Para Games 2020 in Philippines. The research applies one group pretest-posttest design using pre-experimental research methods. The research samples are 14 athletes of Indonesian Cerebral Palsy Football team for Asean Para Games 2020. Data is collected using the Arrow Head Test instrument. Technical analysis employs t-test data with a significance level of 5%. The result of the data analysis shows that UMAC-CPF training model significantly improves the player's agility with a t_count of 9,169, so it can be concluded that UMAC-CPF training model is suitable to improve the agility of Indonesian CP Football Players. This study is potentially studied further by involving other factors such as speed, power, and endurance.
