Starting from the December 2026 issue and subsequent issues, manuscripts involving human participants are required to include an Ethical Approval Statement in accordance with the journal's Ethical Approval Policy. Authors should provide information regarding ethical approval, informed consent, and other relevant ethical considerations, where applicable.
If formal ethical approval was not required, authors must clearly state this in the manuscript and provide an appropriate justification. Research that does not involve human participants should also include an appropriate statement regarding the absence of a requirement for ethical approval.
Authors are strongly encouraged to review the Ethical Approval policy and ensure that their manuscripts comply with these requirements before submission.
