This studyy aims to examine the effect of transparency and accountability on public trust, particularly among the community of Tenda Village, Hulonthalangi District, Gorontalo City. Transparency and accountability are essential elements in governance as they reflect openness of information and responsibility for performance to the public as an effort to enhance public trust. This study employs a quantitative approach, with data collected through the distribution of questionnaires to 120 respondents from the Tenda Village community. The data obtained were then analyzed using the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) method with the assistance of AMOS 24 and SPSS 16 software. The results indicate that transparency has a positive and significant effect on public trust, while accountability has a positive but not statistically significant effect on public trust. These findings suggest that efforts to improve transparency need to be continuously optimized, while strengthening accountability remains necessary to foster greater public trust in the government.
