Optimalisasi Pemberdayaan Santri dalam Inovasi Pembelajaran dan Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler di Pondok Pesantren Gontor 7 Lampung

Community service activities at Gontor 7 Islamic Boarding School in Lampung aim to improve the capacity of students through learning innovation, organizational strengthening, literacy, and environmental awareness. The program is implemented with a participatory approach involving students, administrators, and educators through the stages of observation, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The ten main activities include campus socialization, an anti-corruption campaign, a wall magazine, a cleanliness movement, mobile tadarus (Islamic recitation), daily prayers, short sermons, letter-writing literacy, Islamic speech practice, and the creation of mini trash bins. The results of the community service show an increase in students' understanding of higher education and scholarships, a growing awareness of integrity, a development of a culture of literacy, and communication and leadership skills. In addition, cleaning and waste recycling activities also foster an attitude of environmental awareness. Overall, this community service activity has proven effective in empowering students, strengthening a culture of learning, and integrating academic, spiritual, and social aspects. Islamic boarding schools can become strategic social laboratories in shaping a generation with character, competitiveness, and integrity.
