Population density is positively correlated with the rate of household waste production. Topographically, the area of Buantan Lestari Village is a lowland crossed by the Buantan River and has a fairly wide expanse of land with an altitude of around 5-17 meters above sea level. With this influence, greening and good waste management are needed. However, Buantan Lestari Village must face problems in this regard in the form of minimal awareness of knowledge and skills in planting and processing household waste. The implementation of this activity was carried out to help Buantan Lestari Village face this problem with a socialization method related to planting and managing household waste. With the implementation of this activity, the results of increased literacy regarding environmental awareness of greening and household waste management of participants with sustainability were obtained.
Nurrahmi Nurrahmi, Surya Pratama, Fiola Natasia, Aulya Indah Agustin H Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal ABDINUS : Jurnal Pengabdian Nusantara https://ojs.unpkediri.ac.id/index.php/PPM/article/view/23664 Wed, 01 Jan 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Masterplan Kawasan Agrowisata Desa Talun Ponorogo https://ojs.unpkediri.ac.id/index.php/PPM/article/view/21607
Ngebel Lake is one of the leading tourist destinations in Ponorogo Regency. The implementation of this activity consists of the stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation. The implementation of this seminar activity shows that students have a better understanding of the concepts, structures, and techniques for compiling scientific papers. The success of the implementation of this scientific paper seminar activity cannot be separated from the cooperation and collaboration between students, teachers, and students so that students as the target audience can accept and understand better about writing scientific papers.
Ahmad Irfan Ardiansyah, Wahyu Endah Adhella Putri Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal ABDINUS : Jurnal Pengabdian Nusantara https://ojs.unpkediri.ac.id/index.php/PPM/article/view/23174 Wed, 01 Jan 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Pembuatan Cairan Eco-Enzyme sebagai Solusi Pengelolaan Sampah Organik Rumah Tangga melalui Teknologi Shred-Chopper di Desa Tapanrejo Banyuwangi https://ojs.unpkediri.ac.id/index.php/PPM/article/view/23501
Tapanrejo Village is located in Muncar Sub-district with a large area and high population density. This village experiences problems with household waste generation, which is dominated by organic waste. This amount of waste is further increased by the presence of agricultural waste which is the result of community activities. Therefore, the solution applied to this problem is to utilize household organic waste which is processed into eco-enzyme liquid. The partners of this activity are mothers from the Tapanrejo Village Family Empowerment and Welfare Movement Team (TP-PKK). The purpose of implementing this program is that partners are able to manage household waste independently and are able to make eco-enzyme liquid with the application of a shred-chopper machine to improve the quality of life of the community. The stages of activity in this program consist of the stages of socialization, mentoring and direct practice. Monitoring and evaluation of the results of community service activities are carried out by assessing the success of participants in making eco-enzyme liquids and distributing questionnaires of satisfaction with the implementation of activities filled in by each participant. This community service activity begins with the implementation of socialization and training in making eco-enzyme liquids, implementing shred-chopper machines for waste shredding, and monitoring the evaluation of activities based on questionnaires filled out by activity participants. The implementation of the activity went well and the women participating in the activity were very enthusiastic about participating in the training from start to finish. Based on the results of the activity, 100% of the participants were able to make eco-enzyme liquid according to the instructions given and based on the satisfaction questionnaire that 80% of the participants were very satisfied with the implementation of socialization and training on household waste management and making eco-enzyme liquid that had been given.
Bagus Setyawan, Arfiati Ulfa Utami, Mawan Eko Defriatno Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal ABDINUS : Jurnal Pengabdian Nusantara https://ojs.unpkediri.ac.id/index.php/PPM/article/view/23501 Wed, 01 Jan 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Peningkatan Keberdayaan Ekonomi Melalui Pengelolaan Limbah Organik dan Pertanian Terpadu di Lahan Terbatas https://ojs.unpkediri.ac.id/index.php/PPM/article/view/23707
Agricultural practices on limited land using organic waste management byproducts pose a significant challenge, especially in Lempake Village, North Samarinda. This training begins with the process of determining specifications and making training modules. The training process was attended by representatives of students, who immediately practised this computer assembly to understand the whole process. Then, students were delegated to train other students in computer assembly. Based on the results of the training, the students have understood the basics of computer components, computer assembly steps, how to install the operating system, how to install drivers, how to install computer software in general, and basic troubleshooting if there are problems around computers. However, the development of this sector is hindered by the reliance on expensive commercial fish feed, which limits profit margins from fish sales. Furthermore, organic waste generated from agricultural and livestock activities remains underutilized, posing a potential environmental pollution problem. To address these challenges, a training program on independent fish feed production utilizing organic waste and local resources has been implemented. This program aims to equip the KUPS Fisheries Group in Tuwung Village with the knowledge and skills to produce high-quality fish feed at a more affordable cost. Through this training, participants were introduced to the concept of utilizing household vegetable waste and motan fish from Lake Sabuah as alternative feed ingredients. Additionally, they received training in both conventional and mechanical fish feed production processes, employing a specially designed mixer unit. The program outcomes indicate that participants successfully grasped the concept of waste and local resource utilization and are now capable of producing fish feed independently.
