However, the children of the farmer women's group are not familiar with organic vegetables. In this group there are 22 members and 10 children in grades 1-3 of Elementary School (SD). It was also found that the children's motivation to learn mathematics was low. In addition, KWT's knowledge about the importance of accompanying children while studying is still lacking. From these problems, community service activities focused on workshops 'accompanying children in learning to use the book 'knowing vegetables and counting'. After developing a program or activity, an evaluation is usually carried out to evaluate its effectiveness and achievements. Assessment is an activity to find valid information. This search also includes searching for information that is useful for assessing the existence of a program and alternative strategies offered to achieve predetermined goals. The assessment of these schools can be called Community Service (PkM) activities. This PkM aims to evaluate the performance of schools supported by the Astra Education Foundation - Michael D'Ruslim (YPA-MDR) to maintain the quality of education. This activity is carried out by visiting schools. The target of this activity is all schools supported by YPA-MDR in the Kapuas and Barito areas of Central Kalimantan. The results of this activity provide benefits to all schools to find out the level of education quality of each school. The results can be concluded that academic and character criteria still dominate at the top, followed by non-academic criteria (arts and culture) and other supporting programs (facilities - infrastructure). The academic pillar is the main point considering that the assessment is an educational institution, where learning criteria are very important to review.
2024-05-08T13:36:21+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal ABDINUS : Jurnal Pengabdian Nusantara https://ojs.unpkediri.ac.id/index.php/PPM/article/view/21528 Peningkatan Budaya Wirausaha Pemuda Berbasis Produk Kopi Wilis sebagai Pendukung Pariwisata di Danau Ngebel, Kabupaten Ponorogo, Jawa Timur 2024-07-24T19:14:01+07:00 Anggara Wiyono Wit Saputra anggara.wws@ub.ac.id Sugiarto Sugiarto sugik_mlg@ub.ac.id Denny Widhiyanuriyawan denny_w@ub.ac.id Langgeng Setyono langsetyono@ub.ac.id
The Ngebel area in Ponorogo Regency, East Java, is one of the hidden tourist destinations that has yet to be fully exposed but is becoming a favorite tourist destination in Indonesia. The natural beauty of Lake Ngebel, in the form of a natural lake, is an attraction in itself that can be explored and developed as a natural tourist area in Indonesia. Apart from the natural lake, which holds potential, the Ngebel area is also known for its potential as a robusta coffee center, famously known as Wilis coffee. This initiative aims to provide mentoring and technology application to the youth in Ngebel village and its surrounding areas to become a driving force for the emergence of young entrepreneurs in building businesses based on local commodities, especially Wilis coffee products, thus making it a flagship product and supporting the development of Lake Ngebel tourism. The community service activities consist of entrepreneurial training, the application of appropriate technology such as coffee roasting machine production, and mentoring millennial café entrepreneurs in the Lake Ngebel area as a tourist destination. Grojogan Londo Tourism has its signature song entitled "Grojogan Londo" by Sodiq New Monata and has been watched 6,230 times on YouTube. In addition, there is a song composed by the Statistics Assisted Village Program Team at the University of Airlangga entitled “Ayang Londo”. Therefore, this study aims to measure respondents' assessment of the two Grojogan Londo Tourism promotional songs. Data was obtained through an online survey using Google Forms with 117 respondents and then analyzed descriptively, correlationally and comparatively. The method used is descriptive statistics, Rank Spearman correlation test, and Mann-Whitney test. The data support the hypothesis that the respondents' interest in the songs "Grojogan Londo" and "Ayang Londo" is different. In addition, 41.9% of respondents believe that music-based promotional media can influence tourists' interest in traveling to certain areas. Therefore, Grojogan Londo tourism promotion songs must be promoted more aggressively through various social media channels which are currently popular among the public, especially the millennial generation. This research contributes to expanding the literature and increasing knowledge about marketing media through songs and their influence on tourist interest which needs to be done as an effort to evaluate tourism development.
2024-05-13T10:59:40+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal ABDINUS : Jurnal Pengabdian Nusantara https://ojs.unpkediri.ac.id/index.php/PPM/article/view/22254 Edukasi Literasi Keuangan, Investasi, Financial Technology, dan Pengelolaan Keuangan Pribadi 2024-07-24T19:14:40+07:00 Novia Utami novia.utami@atmajaya.ac.id Teresia Angelia Kusumahadi teresia.kusumahadi@atmajaya.ac.id
In the current digital era, financial literacy is crucial to support wise financial management and prevent the risk of fraud, especially among the younger generation. This article discusses the need for financial literacy, especially among high school students, to help them manage personal finances, understand investments, and become familiar with financial technology (fintech). Cases of fraud, such as several students caught in online loans, emphasize the importance of understanding financial literacy in financial decisions. From the evaluation results of the financial literacy workshop conducted at SoliDEO Christian High School, this activity positively impacted students' understanding of investment, financial literacy, and financial technology. A significant increase in students' interest scores regarding these various aspects was seen through surveys before and after the workshop. The highest increase occurred in understanding investment instruments, followed by the urgency of recognizing red flags when investing, financial literacy, use of financial technology, and investing in general. Even though there has been an increase, the importance scores for understanding and measuring investment profits and risks, managing personal finances, and making a priority scale for spending funds tend to be stable.
2024-05-14T05:50:08+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal ABDINUS : Jurnal Pengabdian Nusantara https://ojs.unpkediri.ac.id/index.php/PPM/article/view/20749 Pelatihan Pembuatan Ecobrick sebagai Solusi Penanganan Sampah Plastik di SDN Pandean, Kecamatan Pandean, Magelang 2024-07-24T19:15:02+07:00 Evieta Rohana evietarohana@lecturer.undip.ac.id Fitri Wulandari fitriwulandari@lecturer.undip.ac.id Wimzy Rizqy Prabhata wimzyrp@lecturer.undip.ac.id Nuraini Ekawati nuraini.ekawati@fk.undip.ac.id Khairul Anam k.anam@lecturer.undip.ac.id MG Isworo Rukmi mgiswororukmi@lecturer.undip.ac.id Widyandani Sasikirana widyandani.sasikirana@live.undip.ac.id
The amount of plastic waste is increasing along with its increasing use. The volume of waste in the city of Bandung will reach 1,594.18 tons per day in 2022, which is dominated by food waste at 44.52%. Thermal processing of waste, such as RDF (refuse-derived fuels) which can be used as fuel for PLTSa incinerators, is still hampered. Ciwaruga Village, RW 12 is a densely populated area, waste handling has not been managed well, plus immigrants are increasingly contributing to waste production. Polban plays a role in helping solve the waste problem through PKM activities. The methods used are socialization, training, technical guidance, mentoring, evaluation and program sustainability. PKM activities emphasize organic waste management through maggot cultivation. The existence of a community of catfish farmers in RW 12 is the reason why the idea of cultivating maggots as an alternative to catfish feed emerged, considering that the price of catfish feed is increasing. The protein content of maggots is very good for the growth of catfish, as well as complementary food for chickens. Maggot leftover food (kasgot) can be used as fertilizer. Maggots consume twice their body weight in food a day. For this reason, maggot cultivation is the right solution to reduce organic waste. PKM activities focus on developing maggot cultivation on a larger scale, namely the RW scale. Supported by waste shredding machine technology so that waste is consumed more easily and quickly by maggots. Considering the benefits of maggots, it is hoped that this can motivate people to become entrepreneurs in maggot cultivation as additional income.
2024-07-14T18:49:04+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal ABDINUS : Jurnal Pengabdian Nusantara https://ojs.unpkediri.ac.id/index.php/PPM/article/view/22645 Pelatihan Penyusunan Capital Budgeting pada Pelaku Usaha Kecil Menengah di Kabupaten Banyumas 2024-07-24T19:18:48+07:00 Wida Purwidianti widapurwidianti@ump.ac.id Watemin Watemin watemyn@ump.ac.id Tri Septin Muji Rahayu septinharyanto@gmail.com
Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are considered the engine that drives a country's economy. In Gading sub-district there is Bandar Prosecutor River which flows into the Asahan River. So far, the people who live around that location have taken water from this river to meet their needs. The problem is that the water they consume is not suitable (smelly water, dark color when it rains, mossy). This activity aims to help partners' problems with the installation of water purification equipment. The implementation method begins with assessing the shortcomings of river water purification technology, then a site survey, equipment installation, and unit handover. The results of implementing this service have been realized at partner locations, clean water has been enjoyed by community. The standard of social life, especially the provision of clean water suitable for consumption for cooking, bathing, washing clothes and other needs, can be helped by this service where there are no similar activities in that location.
2024-07-22T12:09:31+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal ABDINUS : Jurnal Pengabdian Nusantara https://ojs.unpkediri.ac.id/index.php/PPM/article/view/23173 Rumah Imun dan Ambulan Motor sebagai Upaya Pencegahan Stunting dan Sarana Kegawatdaruratan di Desa Pagung Kabupaten Kediri 2024-07-26T21:06:10+07:00 Theresia Indah Budhy Sulisetyawati theresia-i-b-s@fkg.unair.ac.id Retno Indrawati Roestamadji retnoindrawati@fkg.unair.ac.id Ni Luh Ayu Megasari ni.luh.ayu@pasca.unair.ac.id Ristya Sylva Imannia ristyasylva@gmail.com Renita Gusti Wardhani renitagw@gmail.com Ersa Afifah Maulanasari ersaafifahm@gmail.com Natallensi Deara Cheardi natallensidearach@gmail.com Dwi Candra Buana dwi.candra.buana@staf.unair.ac.id
This community service aims to improve the skills and knowledge of the surrounding community as well as first aid accommodation to health service facilities in the community of Pagung Village, Semen District, Kediri Regency, East Java.
