This community service activity aims to implement appropriate technology in the form of a brick-making machine to produce bricks from glass powder as a solution to the problem of glass waste management in Lamajang Village, Bandung Regency. The method used is a community-based participatory technology engineering method, which includes the stages of needs identification, tool design using the DFMA approach, prototyping, testing, and training and mentoring for the community. The machine design process was carried out using the Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) approach to produce a simple, efficient, and easy-to-manufacture design using basic workshop facilities. Of the two alternative designs, Design 2 with a lever and hopper system was chosen because it is more ergonomic, energy efficient, and easy to assemble. The trial results showed that the machine is able to produce a stable compressive force of 165 kgf with an average cycle time of 38 seconds, as well as dense and uniform brick quality. The activity continued with dissemination and training to partners regarding machine operation and maintenance using a manual book. The results showed an increase in the partners' ability to utilize glass waste into economically valuable products, as well as supporting sustainable development at the village level.
