Abstract

This community service program aimed to share knowledge with tourism village managers in Gari Village, Wonosari District, Gunungkidul Regency about the importance of digital literacy for tourism village marketing. The community service activity, which focused on the material presentation and discussions on the importance of improving digital literacy, was attended by 30 tourism village managers. Participants were selected based on recommendations from village heads who were also involved in the program. The workshop participants looked enthusiastic about the material presented by the resource person, and the Q&A session actively engaged the participants. Both activities concluded with an evaluation to check the workshop participants' understanding of digital literacy. Based on the pre-test and posttest evaluations, village tourism managers' understanding of digital literacy, digital promotion, digital promotion strategies, KPI development, and awareness of the importance of implementing digital promotion had improved after the workshop was conducted. These aspects are directly related to digital marketing creativity for the village tourism managed.
