Some of these challenges include the fact that teachers/educators try to help students understand the lessons at hand, but often the results are not as expected. Students find it difficult to concentrate and understand the abstract concepts of their lessons. To deal with this problem, applications and other game systems are used that help children to understand the material. In this study, the learning system was carried out by testing the use of Quzizz material as a teaching aid with the object of the experimental class and control class, namely 5th-grade students from SD Negeri Bedug 01, Pangkah, Tegal. The results showed that Quzizz helped teaching with language materials (antonyms and synonyms), besides that students enjoyed the learning process more. This is because students do not feel pressure to learn and enjoy the learning process as a fun process for them
Anik Hariyastuti, Vivit Triana (Author) Copyright (c) 2024 Anik Hariyastuti (Author) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ojs.unpkediri.ac.id/index.php/pgsd/article/view/21293 Wed, 31 Jan 2024 09:52:43 +0700 Analysis of the reading ability of low vision students at the primary school teacher education, PGRI Ronggolawe University https://ojs.unpkediri.ac.id/index.php/pgsd/article/view/21643
Abstrak: Reading is one of the language skills a person has. When someone experiences problems with their sense of sight, it will definitely affect their reading ability. One of the disorders in the sense of sight is Low Vision. This research aims to describe the reading abilities of elementary school teacher education students with low vision. In learning practices at higher education institutions, low vision students have the same rights as regular students. This research method is a case study, and the research data was collected using interview and observation techniques using interview sheet instruments and observation guide sheets. The data that has been collected is analyzed descriptively qualitatively. Based on the results of interviews and observations, the type of letters that can be read are Times New Roman, Calibri, and Arial. The results of interviews and observations show that the three letters are size 12, spacing 1, 1.5, and 2, 2.5. and 3 spaces 1, 1.5, and 2 are not readable from any distance. The three letters, with sizes 14 and 16, bold, space 1, 1.5, and 2, black, white background, are not legible, but they are legible at a distance of 10 to 15 cm when using spaces 2, 2.5, and 3 and students occasionally spell and activities are carried out in outdoor. When indoors, students need more time to carry out these activities. Research subjects were also unable to read paragraphs consisting of three or more sentences. The reading activities of research subjects are also influenced by the light around them.
Arik Umi Pujiastuti, Wendri Wiratsiwi (Author) Copyright (c) 2024 Arik Umi Pujiastuti (Author) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ojs.unpkediri.ac.id/index.php/pgsd/article/view/21643 Wed, 31 Jan 2024 00:00:00 +0700 Analysis of the religious attitudes of children who participate in hadrah art activities in the mushola Al-Fattah, Bulus village, Bandung district, Tulungagung regency https://ojs.unpkediri.ac.id/index.php/pgsd/article/view/21717
Hadrah in daily life always enlivens in Islamic events such as commemoration of the Prophet's birthday, Tabligh Akbar, Hijriyah New Year celebrations, and commemoration of other Islamic holidays. Therefore, the integration of GEDSI in learning is the main focus, especially for UMM PGSD students who will become teachers in the future. This research aims to understand the extent to which GEDSI integration occurs in the fifth semester of elementary school social studies learning tools for UMM PGSD students and the obstacles in its integration. The research method uses qualitative descriptive research by analyzing documents in the form of learning tools for PGSD UMM students in the fifth semester (odd) of the 2023/2024 academic year with content analysis techniques, data collection methods through documentation of elementary social studies learning tools that have been prepared by students. In general, 79.9% of students in learning activity content and 98% of students in teaching material texts have integrated GEDSI. In the illustrations and pictures, in the teaching materials section there are 94% of students who have integrated GEDSI and 6% of students have not integrated GEDSI, 53% of students' LKPD have not or have not implemented GEDSI integration and 47% have integrated GEDSI, in the evaluation section there are around 66 .4% of students have integrated GEDSI and 33.6% of students have not or have not integrated GEDSI. Finally, in references or learning resources, there were 0.07% or 1 student who integrated GEDSI and 99.3% had not or did not integrate GEDSI. It is hoped that the results of this research can help create an inclusive and equitable learning environment, as well as produce graduates who are ready to face global challenges.
Bahrul Ulum, Delora Jantung Amelia, Panut Setiono (Author) Copyright (c) 2024 Delora jantung amelia (Author) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ojs.unpkediri.ac.id/index.php/pgsd/article/view/21847 Wed, 31 Jan 2024 10:04:40 +0700 Development of website-based teaching materials on the solar system for class V elementary school students https://ojs.unpkediri.ac.id/index.php/pgsd/article/view/21834
The aim of this research is to develop website-based teaching materials on the solar system for fifth grade elementary school students. This teaching material was developed as a learning resource in elementary science learning which was developed systematically and logically. The method in this research uses R&D by adapting the ADDIE development model with stages, namely: 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, and 5) Evaluation. The location of this research was carried out at Emmaus Elementary School, Kediri Regency with a total of 25 test subjects. The data used to see the feasibility of the product that has been developed is product validity data, product practicality data, and product effectiveness data. The results of product validity tests carried out by material experts obtained an average value of 85%, while the validity results by design experts were 83%. The average product validity test result is 84% with valid criteria. The level of practicality and effectiveness of the teaching materials was carried out through extensive trials with the product practicality level obtaining an average score of 96% in the very practical category. Meanwhile, the results of the product effectiveness test can be seen from the comparison of the average value of classical student learning outcomes, namely 80 with a KKM of 75. Based on the comparison results, the average classical student learning outcomes are higher than the predetermined KKM, so the product can be declared effective for use in teaching. solar system material for fifth grade elementary school students.
Frans Aditia Wiguna, Dhian Dwi Nur Wenda, Detika Amelia Selan (Author) Copyright (c) 2024 Frans Aditia Wiguna Frans (Author) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ojs.unpkediri.ac.id/index.php/pgsd/article/view/21834 Wed, 31 Jan 2024 10:06:44 +0700 Improving mathematics learning outcomes on fraction material using pbl-based petis (automatic fraction) media for elementary school students https://ojs.unpkediri.ac.id/index.php/pgsd/article/view/20774
This research aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes, especially
fraction material, in grade 4 students at SDN 2 Banaran by using PETIS (Automatic
Fractions) media based on problem based learning.
