Improper handling of snake bites can result in death. This is caused by damage to body tissue, swelling, decreased blood pressure, corneal damage, uveal bleeding, and rupture of erythrocytes. The aim of this Community Service is to provide knowledge to people in the gymnastics community about first aid for snake bites in Campurdarat District. Community service activities are carried out through several stages, namely the planning, implementation and evaluation stages. At the planning stage, the target audience is determined. The implementation phase provides a pretest questionnaire before providing education, then continues with providing material for 60 minutes to the gymnastics community and continues with a question and answer session. The Evaluation Stage is providing a posttest questionnaire. The result was that before being given education about snakebite emergency first aid, almost 9 people (23%) had good knowledge, half of those given education were 20 people (50%) who had good knowledge. In the upcoming Community Service activities, it is hoped that first aid simulations for snakebite emergencies will be provided.
2024-12-30T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2024 Intan Munawaroh, Amita Audilla, Wiwid Yuli Astuti , Ria Anggraini, Rio Ady Erwansyah, Shulhan Arief Hidayat, Ossi Dwi Prasetiohttps://ojs.unpkediri.ac.id/index.php/abhipraya/article/view/23179Optimalisasi Pemahaman Pemanasan dan Pendinginan untuk Mencegah Cedera pada Klub Olahraga2024-11-27T11:24:55+07:00Nurhidayat Nurhidayatnur574@ums.ac.idGatot Jarionogj969@ums.ac.idAnugrah Nur Warthadianw217@ums.ac.idVera Septi Sistiasihvss538@ums.ac.idBudi Hernawanbh235@ums.ac.id
One of the goals of PKM is to avoid injury to body parts when exercising, so it is very important to do warm-up and cool-down exercises. Although warm-up activities performed gradually make the body sweat and increase its temperature, it helps the heart and blood vessels because it increases blood flow to the brain. For this reason, there needs to be training focused on "Strategies to increase understanding of the importance of warming up and cooling down when doing physical activity at the Punggawan Mosque Youth Sports Club, Surakarta". It is expected that after the socialization and training on livestock health, all members of the Kopi Manis Livestock Group will increase their insight, knowledge, and actions to handle cases of disease in ruminant livestock. This community service activity was carried out using the Participatory Rural Approach (PRA) method, which is a method of educating knowledge and insight to the community or community groups through training, practice, and mentoring. In this PRA method, it was chosen because this PRA method has advantages including the active involvement of community members or groups, in this case the Kopi Manis Livestock Group as the subject. In this socialization and training activity, it was filled with an explanation of various ways to handle ruminant livestock health and how to prevent and treat the types of diseases that usually attack ruminant livestock. As we know, cases of FMD (Foot and Mouth Disease) have caused many problems and great losses for livestock farmers. Also included in this case, when the FMD case broke out, many cattle and goat farmers in the Papar Village area, Papar District, Kediri Regency, experienced paralysis and death in their livestock. Such conditions are certainly very detrimental to farmers. In response to the conditions and problems after the FMD case in Papar Village, Papar District, Kediri Regency, a solution is needed to anticipate the occurrence of FMD cases not recurring or spreading again in the Papar area, so socialization and training are needed on disease prevention and health care for ruminant livestock. It is hoped that with the socialization and training on livestock health, it can provide provisions and knowledge for farmers who are especially members of the Sweet Coffee Livestock Group.
2024-12-30T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2024 Ardina Tanjungsari, Sapta Andaruisworo, Erna Yuniati; Anifiatiningrumhttps://ojs.unpkediri.ac.id/index.php/abhipraya/article/view/24331Sosialisasi Teknik Penyusunan Artikel dan Publikasi Ilmiah dalam Penelitian Bidang RMIK2024-12-27T09:35:00+07:00tri lestaritrilestari.mhk@gmail.comNunik Maya Hastutitrilestari.mhk@gmail.comRohmadi Rohmaditrilestari.mhk@gmail.com
A scientific article is a factual or non-fiction essay about a problem published in a journal, magazine or bulletin with the aim of conveying ideas and facts, in order to convince, educate and offer a solution to a problem. A strategic effort to overcome this is by implementing Midwife Continuity of Care (CoC) on the 1000 HPK (First Day of Life) by midwives. Probolinggo Regency has the 5th highest mortality rate in East Java Province with an MMR of 201 per 100,000 live births in 2022, while the IMR rate reaches 10.4 per 1,000 live births. One of the factors that influences this problem is the midwife's lack of knowledge regarding CoC care. Research shows that implementing CoC can significantly reduce the risk of maternal and neonatal complications. The aim of this community service activity is to increase midwives' knowledge regarding Continuity of Care. Methods include module development, training, and interactive discussions. The first stage is creating a CoC guide module for midwives and a parenting guide for parents. The second stage involves training for midwives and cadres on the concepts and implementation of CoC. Additionally, the activity is conducted in the form of interactive discussions and reflections on the CoC practices carried out by the midwives and cadres. The final stage is the ASAH (Asih, Asah, and Asuh) class for mothers with infants and toddlers, aimed at enhancing their knowledge in monitoring child growth and development. The results of this activity show an increase in midwives' knowledge of 21% after participating in training and simulations.
