This study used the light trap method by making a transect 100 m long and on the transect, 5 observation stations were installed. There are 27 insect families consisting of 35 types of nocturnal insects with a total of 240 individuals. The most common type of insect found is Empoasca fabae. The diversity index (H') is included in the moderate category with a value of 2.10 on the green lamp trap, 1.38 on the blue lamp trap, 2.23 on the yellow lamp trap, 2.76 on the white lamp trap, and 2.26 on the red lamp trap, this shows that the insect diversity at the study site is in a stable condition. The dominance index (C) is categorized as low with a value of 0.184 on green light traps, 0.347 on blue lamp traps, 0.222 on yellow light traps, 0.092 on white light traps, and 0.150 on red light traps. This article is structured to analyze the various roles of the Syzygium species. The method used in preparing this article is a study of literature from various reputable international journals. Several types of Syzygium discussed in this article are S. jambos, S. fibrosum, S. cumini, S. malaccense, S. samarangense, S. densiflorum, S. grande, S. aromaticum and others. Plants belonging to the Syzygium have various roles including as a food ingredient, a role in agriculture, as a bioremediation agent for polluted environments and as a medicinal ingredient. The role of Syzygium in agriculture includes as a natural pesticide and as a weed control agent. The role of Syzygium in the environmental field is as a bioremediation agent for environments polluted by heavy metals, soil polluted by industrial waste and waterlogged soil with high salinity. Phytochemical compounds found in Syzygium cumini have the potential to be used as medicinal ingredients because they have therapeutic effects because they contain anthocyanins, phenols and polyphenols, compounds that function as antioxidants and anti-inflammatories that function to control oxidative stress in preeclampsia. With this article, it is hoped that the public will be able to find out the various roles of plants from members of the Syzygium so that they can make maximum use of them.
2023-10-29T15:29:31+07:00Copyright (c) 2023 Ajeng Mudaningrat, Betty Shinta Indriani, Naila Istianah, Amin Retnoningsih, Enni Suwarsi Rahayuhttps://ojs.unpkediri.ac.id/index.php/biologi/article/view/20903Pengembangan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) Elektronik Berbasis Pendekatan Konstruktivisme pada Materi Sistem Sirkulasi untuk Peserta Didik SMA2023-11-14T13:17:35+07:00Vega Ersalinavegaersalina@yahoo.comRelsas Yogicarelsasyo@fmipa.unp.ac.idSuci Fajrinasucifajrina@fmipa.unp.ac.idMades Fifendymadesfifendy@fmipa.unp.ac.idAsrulvegaersalina@yahoo.com
21st Century Learning requires educators to be able to develop teaching materials in accordance with ICT developments and the needs of students. This research was conducted using light traps as a place to catch nocturnal insects. The method used is a descriptive survey by direct observation of insects in the Pertamina Bagus Kuning Complex. The number of light traps used was 2 traps placed at 2 different stations, the light traps were placed at 18.00 WIB and collected the next day at 05.30 WIB. The results showed that nocturnal insects caught by light traps were 35 individuals from 8 species and 5 orders.
