Membaca Cerita Fabel sebagai Penanaman Karakter Jujur pada Siswa SMP

Abstract:Junior High School (SMP) is a period of transition from childhood to the teenage world. The transition period is the most important phase in life so it is necessary to consider the type of learning according to their world. Learning to read fable literature, especially important given to students of secondary school (SMP) because it can be used as a vehicle to establish honest character in students. Fable is a story that describes the nature and the human mind is the culprit played by animals contain moral and character education. Fable is a kind of literary works written for the consumption of the students so that the story in the fable has a simple shape and easily understood by students. By reading the fable, a student is able to learn from the moral values ​​contained from the story so as to form the character of students and exemplary character in the story can inspire students' behavior in everyday life.
